While its hard to break the pattern of almost daily naps once you manage to do you get tired enough to get to bed earlier. I used to get to sleep sometime around 3 or later but now I’m asleep by 1 or earlier on most nights.

Last night I fell asleep sometime shortly after dinner and I just woke up shortly after 4 in the morning so I’m guessing that I had around 8 hours of sleep. I did wake up earlier yesterday at around 6 in the morning which is reasonable. I don’t know maybe I should just try to max out on caffeine today to stay away and then fall asleep at around 10 or 11 as 10-6 or 11-7 would be a lot closer to normal than 8-4.

Lately I’ve been taking two naps a day a few hour afternoon nap which has been turning my nighttime sleep into another few hour nap. I think a week without a nap should be enough to break this cycle of irregular sleep.
