Buy coffee for random strangers in Seattle

OK…tried to enter this yesterday, but it didn’t take. Anyway…

As recommended, we visited the coffee bar in Seattle’s U District owned by the guy known here as Jack Flint, and whaddya know, I missed him! Darn. But his place DOES serve great coffee. And I did buy a coffee for the resident barista, Brandi, who was surprised but pleased. And they have tons of cool comix. And a big thanks to Mehmet for treating us to cookies.

Or a good way of convincing them we’re crazy? Just on the grounds that it’s something we haven’t already tried.

(Then again, we seem to have odd ways of meeting people. Ask my husband about the bum outside the art supply shop on Mercer sometime.)
