because they are things i would be doing in the summer and spring, so i am taking note of them in my journal, and going to focus on things i can accomplish in the next few months, as well as year round

I’ve gone through my list, and can say that every goal that’s still here is something I truly want to do. (Though I still have one or two that I need to think about a little bit before I decide to give up.) I’m not quite done the tidying-up – there are a few goals that I want to add – but the major overhaul is done.
For now.

I keep saying that I’m going to go over my list and get it updated and organized, so it better reflects who and where I am right now. And I keep losing interest in the effort after a couple of days.
Hopefully, making this into a goal of its own – and giving myself a time frame – will inspire me to get it done.

Looking spiffy

It’s been out with some of the old, in with some new and dusting off the rest. It feels good.

Almost done.

All right, looking a bit slimmer here. Doing well. I think in order to call this quits I’d like to have a recent entry for all my goals. That should give me a pretty good indication of what’s still here that doesn’t need to be.

I’ve knocked off some of the easier things on my list, but there’s still a lot left. Many of them are resolutions, and quite large ones at that. I feel overwhelmed looking at them all and I just don’t know what to do with them. I feel they’re still important, but often they’re big and vague. I also suffer from “do it all at once” syndrome.
Perhaps the answer is in there somewhere: focus on being more specific and concentrate on one thing at a time.
