buy and restore a 57 Thunderbird

This is another goal that’ll take a few years, but I’ve always wanted a ‘57 Thunderbird. I’m going to start taking some auto shop classes at the community college in fall, so I’ll be able to do more of the work myself, and my husband is helping me keep an eye out for a solid car to restore.

We already have 3 1963 Falcons that we love. But my dream car is a 57 Tbird. My husband wants to go ahead and get it now, but I want to pay off our house first, which we’re scheduled to do in spring of 2008. It’s going to be metallic hot pink with a pearl white top.
