I actually have a largish library of books and I use them for reference purposes – my TV is large but not that large. I enjoy reading as what one learns is amazing. Books can help your personal growth and if the topics are those that you are interested in the outcome can be quite inspirational – a good portion of my time is spent reading and I challenge anyway to say that reading is not a worthwhile pastime.
Get rid of your TV or at least make it a small one but have a LARGE library.

How I did it: well, i decided to read the twilight saga, so i read 'twilight' by stephenie meyer, since everyone said it was good, and we watched it as a treat in english and i was just hooked. so, well, i read twilight, abit, but it took me ages, but then when i was on holiday with my family, lying in the sun all day, i really got it, and liked it. I would reccomend this book for any teen or young adult anywhere. Lessons & tips: just, read. no matter how boring it seems. and be relaxed, i just think thats when you get the best time to read. I wanted to read a book and I wanted to see this movie.. so i brought the book and said i have to read it all before i actually watch the movie. Its working, and now all i want to is to read it.. lol

I love reading and I read pretty fast but when its homework, you don’t want to read it. Fortunately all the books that the teacher made me read are all books that I found great.
Brave New World was a good one, The Boy in Striped Pyjamas (which is now a movie) and the current one is Oryx and Crake. All three of them are great but my favourite is The Boy in Striped Pyjamas and Oryx and Crake. Awesome books that I really recommend.

With the advent of the internet, it’s so easy to cruise through articles and sites. I want to curl up with a book, sit down and savor the words and the story. It is a matter of finding time in the day as well…last thing at night, I end up falling a sleep as soon as I read a few pages! Maybe I can get better lighting in my apartment and good seating area dedicated to reading. AND also let go of having to check email every 5 minutes!
