Update: Didn’t participate in the first annual Houston inline marathon. I can’t remember why we didn’t go. I’m leaving this on my list for things to do in 2008.

There’s been movement on this goal, but not the positive kind. I’ve noticed that I’m looking chunkier and my pants are a little tighter than just a month ago. Not the kind of progress I was looking for. Yesterday I was at an office close to the University stadium when I noticed all the stairs in the bleachers…. Hmmm… If I can get access to them, that would be a great way to work out those trouble areas.
Today was the 10K we decided not to register for. It turned out to be a good thing we didn’t sign up since it was cold, wet and drizzling outside this morning.
Was planning on registering for the 10K yesterday when I decided to check the weather report. There’s a 40% chance of rain next Saturday. Discussed it with Daniel and we decided to not register after all for this event. I have to say I am disappointed but maybe the middle of the winter isn’t a great time to start on a rollerblading goal. We have talked about going to the university 3 days a week to work out in the gym. If we do that until the weather improves, we’ll be in even better shape starting out.
Same goal as last year and we worked so hard before the marathon was cancelled. First step this year, get Daniel a new pair of rollerblades. Next step register by Jan 13 for the 10K in Dallas. This will be a good way to get back on track.
