In order to get your master scuba diver certification you need your: open water certification, advanced certification, rescue certification, 5 specialty certifications and 50 logged dives.
I have my open water certification, advanced certification, rescue certification and 4 specialty certifications (enriched air nitrox, equipment specialist, peak performance buoyancy and drift diving).
I am planning on taking underwater navigator for my final specialty certification. I currently have 20 logged dives and need 30 more left.

I just got back from the check out dive for the second half of the NAUI Silver Star Advanced course. I don’t know where to go from now! All that is left are just a couple of short specialized courses and then the master course. I don’t know if my instructor even teaches that… AYIE! That scares me, because he’s really good and I don’t know if I would trust anyone else. :/ I guess I’m a creature of habit and don’t like too much change! But I really enjoyed the class and the dives in Vortex Springs and Panama City – that was my second time to both locations. The weather was beautiful, though the water was a little cold and the visibility wasn’t quite as good as last time, but overall they were wonderful dives. Oh, and a couple people saw a bull shark (probably chasing one of the Amber-Jacks) out on the Black Bart, but he swam away pretty quickly. So, that’s one step closer!!!!

One of my thousand ideas for a retirement job is to own a scuba shop. Or maybe a B&B focused on scuba clients. Additionally, I just enjoy being more knowledgeable in the water. The more dives I have under my belt, the more I find scuba diving to be thoroughly pleasurable.
