have a karaoke party

I’ve had multiple karaoke parties now. Once I brought my family’s magic mic to college, and we all sang at bong’s place. We had so much fun, singing and dancing to the music as well. It was so funny watching Bong really getting into it, dancing along and acting with the lyrics. In the end, we all got up and danced to “I will Survive” (a classic!) until the doorbell rang and Bong’s downstairs housemates complained about the noise. The barkada was surprised about my really emotional rendition of “Bohemian Rhapsody” haha I guess I really do put it all out there when I sing that song. Haha.

I’ve been wanting to have one of these for the longest time.. ever since my family got our very first magic mic… i’m finally hosting one but so far there have only been 9 definite “yes” rsvps… i know its still half a month away, but i would really like it to happen..
I haven’t a big party at my house that doesn’t consist of mostly my family or parent’s friends… I hope that if it does happen, I will enjoy myself, it won’t be too awkward for my family and those who are attending.. and that everybody will have the chance to sing, and that the mic is not dominated by just “play” people..
