have a romantic Valentine's Day

G. & I spent some time today looking through photos & choosing some to make into prints. We’ve had a lot of good times in the past year…We got romantic before dinner, which was a heart-shaped pizza (carryout…I’m lazy.)

We weren’t going to get each other Valentine’s Day gifts, yet somehow I wound up with 2 bouquets and chocolates from the candy shop up the street.

We snuggled and watched The Notebook, which we both loved even more the 2nd time. It got us talking about how fast life is…it just roars by…we never want to miss opportunities to have fun together and to appreciate each other.

I feel very lucky to be married to him. We started dating right around this time of the year, 19 years ago. It still feels fresh. He’s the one I was meant to be with, the love of my life. 3 years ago

In the past, we’ve gone to romantic restaurants (which tend to be a little too expensive ). But the best Valentine’s Days I remember have been spent at home, just the two of us. 3 years ago

Last year I made a heart-shaped pizza from scratch and we watched a romantic movie. Simple, but it was so nice. We were talking about it yesterday and I think we may just do that again! 3 years ago
