How I did it: I decided to learn the drums. It takes persistence and practice. I don't ever miss my weekly 1:1 lesson with my instructor. I've missed one lesson in the past 1 1/2 years due to work (a few when I was on vacation outside the country) . Just kept at it, and never let the slowness of my learning speed bother me. How I did it: Loads of practice. I went through several instruments trying to find the perfect one. I started on viola in 3rd grade then switched to piano and when I was 11 I found the flute, which became my primary instrument. Now that I attend music school I wish I kept up with those other instruments. It's one of my goals to relearn them, plus pick up a few more. Read how I did it…

plusran Cello Practice
How I did it: I started the cello in 3rd grade but quit because I was too scared to make mistakes in front of an audience. Twenty years later I saw my little ten year old cousin play in his first cello recital and I knew I could do it too. I got over the fear.I started renting a cello and taking lessons. I feel motivated to practice because i get to play music I like.I de-stress by playing out my emotions on the cello. It helps me … Read how I did it…

Haven’t updated this for a while but completely backtracked on the piano and started the violin in january.
I’m pretty awful. I can just about read notes now as before I was playing music from the suzuki method books, which already has the notes in, so there was no need to learn them. But my teacher says she thinks I’m somewhere between grade 2/3 and that I should take a grade exam so pleased with that!
AndrewRashi Is waisting time...
I actually started out with just wanting to learn to play the drums, this was because I thought they sounded cool a simply and silly reason, I never pursued this desire as I never had the right circumstances and didn’t really care that much to be honest but now that I’ve got more in entrust in reality and not games I’ve opened up to the possibility of more instruments and have even realized the existence of more then just drums, guitar, and trumpet x.x (yes those were the only ones I knew really existed even after playing Zelda ocarina ) after some time of listening to instruments and looking over the types of music they could play I realized that the majority of stuff out there would put too much on my lungs… even the ocarina might be difficult because I’m just not great when it comes to holding my breath or exhaling for long periods of time. I decided I’d try out the Ocarina though because it’s kinda a child hood memory from my old Zelda games + I still had a desire to try drums as I just like how they sound. So now I’m attempting to buy a simple drum set, and Ocarina (if not to play at least a Zelda replica for display)
Nerienea is getting down to business.
It belonged to one of my relatives. I don’t know the first thing about banjos, and it’s probably horrendously out of tune.
Other than that, I have a harmonica, but I don’t know where it is.
Decisions, decisions.

Even though cello will be the instrument of my choice, at this moment I don’t care which one I can learn I will love to learn to play more than a few chords on a guitar, violin or piano (that’s all I know)
I’m thinking a stringed instrument, such as a ukelele, banjo, mandolin, or guitar. We have a guitar at home, so perhaps I should start with that. However, I am more drawn to the banjo and mandolin.
haha, i can’t even decide on an instrument to learn. I kno a great music school though.
tried picking up tutorials from my brother, and a friend. learned strumming a few chords. now i can play 5 songs already. XD
