...or at least finish the one i’ve been writing for so long…
How I did it: I set aside some time every morning, plotted the story first, then wrote the screenplay straight through. For me, the hardest part was getting the plot just right, so I spent the bulk of my time plotting and replotting. Once I had a plot I was happy with, the writing happened pretty mechanically. I've set the screenplay aside and will edit in a few months.
Lessons & tips: Write every day - especially when you're not in the mood.

...to finalize the two screeplays I’m rewriting. You know how when you can’t leave well enough alone? Well, I was trying to put a bit more edge on both of them. Mind you, I have a third that is about half finished.
Well, I’ll keep plugging at it until I get it right.
Love you all my fellow writers, and much luck in the bizz.
Last night, I finally sat down at the computer and didn’t play World of Warcraft, but went about learning Final Draft 7, and got to work on transcribing the first act of what has been a handwritten screenplay.
This program is mighty.
Writing movies is great. I’ve written everything from Sci-Fi to Romance. I think my next one will be a comedy.
