I’m so gutted, my cat Billy had to be put down 7 weeks ago. (The ginger one.) I’ve never been so upset, but I know I chose the right option because he was really uncomfortable in the end.
I miss him :(

I got a kitten to keep Mishi (The black and white one) company because she stopped eating when Billy died. They hated each other for maybe two days and now they’re play mates. I still haven’t named the n00b. He’s a bengal. I need something that suits his crazy personality. 4 years ago

My cat has a thyroid problem. He’s really skinny. The loss of fat has caused his eyes to sink a bit so they’re always runny. Apparently it’s worn his organs and his heart rate is ridiculously high.
I feel responsible because I should have done something sooner. I saw that he was really thin, but I thought that’s just how he was for ages. Then I started to monitor him when I noticed his eyes running and realised the only way I could possibly know was to take him to a vet where they confirmed my suspicions.
He’s on medication now, to gain weight and stabilize it before having an operation. If that’s successful he’ll have a second one.
Each time he gets meds it’s £45 and the ops will be £250 each.
I don’t even care about the cash, even though I that’s a huge amount for me. I’m so scared to lose him and I feel so bad for him. I hope that he’s not uncomfortable, and I hope he’s happy. 4 years ago
