How I did it: I found that one of my tires had a nail stuck in the sidewall. Since my car is 4WD, I had to replace all of my tires. In order to afford that and other expensive repairs to my car, I had to get a credit card through firestone. Now I'm working through payments and so close to being broke. At least I've got new tires. Read how I did it…
How I did it: My husband researched what we needed and made the appointment. I had him reset the appointment to a day I was off work in the morning. Then I woke up, took the car in, refused upgrades twice, and waited almost two hours for my new tires. Tada! Read how I did it…

How I did it: I'd been driving around with a slow leak in one of my tires for about a month, just filling up with air when I would get gasoline. Then it was getting to need air even between fill-ups so I knew it was time to do something about it. After putting it off and putting it off, I took an hour after work and wham-bam, I've got new tires (good thing too, cause the leaking one had a crack in it from driving on a low tire and could hav… Read how I did it…

I figure I’ll be fine for this spring and summer, but come fall, I will need to get some new tires for my car. I should start putting aside money for this to guarantee that it happens.
I have Friday morning off. R made an appointment and price agreement with the tire place and I will have new tires then!
Bit late on this one. We had the first snow today. Did you feel the price on tires increase? I did.

The front tires on my car are getting low, and I have had the same ones for a long time now. I will try to get new ones maybe this next Monday.

My car needs new tires so badly! there is a big lump on the side wall on one of the front tires, it looks like its inflated out, really bad looking. The treads are also worn away and its time for 4 new ones! I’m hoping the fiance can surprise me with them from Costco or something, but if not I’ll go this weekend.

to check off a goal that was never on your list. But I realized once it was done that it should have been, because I’ve known for several months and have been saving up. Well, the saving up is blown because I got a screw in the tire and was going to replace them anyway, so just took the dive and got new ones on the CC. Will have to pay off with backpay. But at least it’s done . . .

We’re going camping soon and I was worried about the cracks in the trailer tires. We bought the trailer used 3 years ago and didn’t get covers for the tires until this spring. Duh. Sun damage is a much bigger problem than wear for those of us in desert climes.
So when we start out I won’t be worried about a blowout, which would be scary and awful.
We got four new ones of appropriate size for my SUV before hitting the road for our cross-country move. It made such a huge difference! Yay!
My partner says the car drives a lot better now, and I don’t have to worry as much about him making long trips (7 hours in a day). If that wasn’t enough, both my mother and his sister had tires blow out last weekend!
It feels really good to have this done. But seriously, why does it have to be so expensive?!?
