I just watched this last week. It was very emotional but inspirational.

Another long movie. I’ve found that I personally don’t think many movies really have to be quite as long as they actually are when they are three hours or more, but some are easier to get through than others. While I still think this one was a bit longer than it could have been, I thought it was a good movie. I read the book, and I almost like the movie better. It was more exciting than the book to see the actual people talking and moving about. I noticed that it was a nominee for Best Picture back in 1960, so I thought about who won instead, and that made me mad. Ben-Hur! That movie was horrible! The Diary of Anne Frank is definitely MUCH better than Ben-Hurl!

Definitely deserving of a spot on this list.
And it’s been a few months since I watched it, but I noticed that I forgot to mark In the Heat of the Night off this list too.
Watched this one a few months ago for the AFI Top 100 list, but didn’t notice it was on this list too, until just now.
Two more off the list. So far I’ve been able to mark movies off this list by watching films from the other two lists I’m working on, AFI Top 100 and Academy Award winners.
I love that there are movies on this list that are on the AFI Top 100 and Academy Award list too. I’ve been able to watch some of the movies on this list just by working on those goals.
There are a few that I have seen, but did not mark off the list. I decided not to mark it off if I’ve seen it, but I don’t remember any of it. So I’ll have to watch them again to refresh my memory.
