Learn to speak German fluently

Y goal is to learn to speak german fluently, my partner and his family all speak german as they lived there for 6 years. my partner is now going in the army and we will have to move to germany so i need to be able to speak it by next year.

I have sang some songs in german throughout my choir studies, been to germany, love the sound of the language, would love to learn it someday, though I’m currently studying spanish and french at the moment.. but someday certainly.

Visiting classes, reading magazines and taking notes of the unknown words, visiting German speaking countries and still trying… I have very nice cd’s too, but I can’t find the time to use them :(...

I’ve already gotten German CD’s to get me started. I’m a bit lucky as I already speak some German, so the mouth formations, tongue positioning and “odd” sounds aren’t new. ;) The CD’s I’ve purchased are used for the military to quickly acclimate them to the country they will be stationed, so hopefully it will have me fluent in conversational German in a reasonable amount of time. I hope to do the Germans in my family proud.

I really would love to learn the German language. I think it sounds so beautiful, when I hear it.

I tend to watch a lot of German videos on Youtube just so I can hear it being spoken.

I want to learn.

I left college… so i wont be fluent… instead, im studying french (i understand almost 100% and i am fluent, but i need to do some things .. oh well)

i would like to learn german because I am eventually thinking of moving there at least for some time. The language sounds interesting enough but till now found it quite difficult to understand even though i have loads of German friends…

ill be… in 4 years! woooooo
I only know about five words now. Yeah, yeah. College’s gonna change me. Hahaha
