How to get an Associates Degree in Graphic Design
How I did it: I just decided to do it and did. I studied hard, worked hard on my projects and tried to do my best! It helped to have a lot of support from a couple good friends and people at school to encourage me and also to complain to/with. Getting student loans is pretty easy, so money was not a problem.
Lessons & tips: It would help if you were a little familiar with MAC and Adobe products before starting. Also be sure to research the schools you are considering. Be sure they really teach and aren't just diploma mills.
Resources: Lots of research on-line. Schools & exactly what is Graphic Design. Is that what you really want to do?

When I first moved to Pittsburgh, I thought about going to photography school, but no one supported me and life got in the way. Now 15 years later my focus has changed a bit but still has to do with visual art. I think with computers and all graphic/art design is the way to go. I am enrolled in a Graphic Design course to start in September at Bradford School.
