    Blurb 21 months ago

Almost done with my first book. I downloaded blurb’s software a few weekends ago and started a book about the cross country adventure my best friend and I took in 2001. We threw up a website on geocities and updated with text and pictures from the road. Thankfully I have all of it still and it looks great! We spent a couple months driving around. From Northern CA to Nevada to Utah NM, TX, zig zagging along the south, driving the perimeter of Florida and up the east coast all the way to Maine. It is going to be so cool to have our adventures chronicled in book form. Still want to edit the book my grandmother created, but that is the most ambitious undertaking.

have an idea 21 months ago

My grandmother passed away last year at 80. She had an avid interest in genealogy. She actually wrote a book about her and my grandfather’s lives complete with news clippings, xeroxed photos and carefully typed pages. She then took the bundle to a printer and had a few copies printed with one of those plastic spiral spines. I am thinking it would be a great gift to my family if I could get a hold of her original source material (the pictures and clippings) then type up the text and publish via lulu or blurb. It might be a bit of a challenge as I am on the east coast and my family is in California, but I feel excited about it…

    Almost there... 3 years ago

As soon as I get everything together for copywriting, I think I’ll be publishing the first five-chapter volume of Unlucky Seven through lulu.com.

    Everyone buy my book.

Unlucky 7 and all... 3 years ago

So, I’ve officially written 25 chapters of Unlucky 7. With that, I think I want to start publishing 5- or 10-chapter volumes.

Now I just have to edit and copyright, then I can get it on.

    Hope someone will carry me.
