I finished it this afternoon. Just me, Stephen Fry and a great big mug of tea…life can’t get much better.

Now mind you I am in my mid twenties and before I saw the fourth movie I wasn't even considering reading this children's series(though I did watch all movies and agree that they were very good). ...I’m listening to the audiobooks on a daily basis and Stephen Fry reads them so damn well I actually can’t go back to physically reading! I end up imaging how Stephen would deliver the lines, chuck the book in the corner and reach for the iPhone.
Anyway, I’m halfway through the Chamber of Secrets and really want to have finished the series before the hype starts for the last two films. I have 169 chapters left, ranging from 30 – 70 minutes in length. If I listen to one chapter a day, I’ll finish by May 9 2010 but realistically, it will be earlier than that! I may even get to listen to them again before the DH1 is released next November.

So I finished the books. Kind of expressed all my feeling about it in my “how to ” review so don’t want to repeat myself. Will definitely re-read the books in the years to come.

I read all books up to Order of the Phoenix. Will wait for Half-Blood Prince to come out in theaters in July, and will finish last 2 after that. Really tempting to finish all now though.
