I don’t know what to do! It’s been ages since I dyed my hair, but it’s not growing out very fast and it’s fading veeery slowly. In a couple of weeks I want to lighten it to pale brown and dye it royal blue. How much time should I leave between each dye?
I’m so confused!
How to dye my hair again
How I did it: It was just a boxed dye but I prefer it brown, worth it in the end :) It's semi - permanent so should be back to normal in about 2 months.
UPDATE
it's now back to normal and i'm thinking about going permanently brown, maybe?
Lessons & tips: if you're unsure about dying your hair PLEASE do try it with a non - permanent dye first.

It doesn’t even LOOK blue, it looks black. It’s like I just dyed it black again pouts People keep saying it looks blue when the light hits it. Ah. Oh well.
It does look awsome though. At least it isn’t a billion different colours now.
Boo-yah!

Oh yes. I did it black last time and now it’s all washed out. Righ tnow my hair is about five different colours.
Red [I had two big bits of red in it and I dyed over them], my natural colour brown, a weird light brown at the roots and blonde from when it was bleached for the red to go on. It’s weird and I kinda like it but I need to dye it again. The cosmic blue looks well cool. I’m gonna go down to Savers to get it this weekend.

I dyed it reflective blue. My parents wern’t too impressed, but I liked it. It made me individual enough that it wasnt too noticable but was pretty cool when it was. But always use old towels that no-one minds having mucked up.
Somehow I just don’t like the storebought kind as much as home-made mixes. More fun to mix it yourself and add random things- pretty much anything’s allowed, so it has a kind of “mad scientist” element to it- plus, you get lovely shades of hair that seem to never fade. Cool. The henna I got from the store was awesome, easier to mix, I thought- but the color was kind of the exact same shade as my hair had been pre-dye- granted, it’s more shiny and rich-looking, but still… maybe I’ll just have to try a completely different color- I picked one that was kind of lighter than I wanted, so that might’ve been it… anyways, I still love it.
It’s reddy purply colour and I’m even more proud because I did it myself and it didn’t go wrong. I was also pleased because I was concerned it was going to look too much like my friend hair colour but I’ve been told it dosen’t soo. My advice just dye your hair just make sure it it won’t end up a weird colour that you’ll hate and if your still not sure get a semi perminant one.
