Nah…
I love Audrey Hepburn. I can’t believe that on Jan. 20th, it will be 14 years since she passed away.
The picture on the left is from Funny Face and the one on the right is from Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
Although I could easily name a dozen movies that I love, my standout favourite is Out of Africa. I have watched it over and over again but there’s something about it that keeps me coming back…
This movie has EVERYTHING. In the modern age, it’s easy to see it as a romance. And it is! It is the most wonderful and bittersweet of romances. But there is so much more.
It’s a buddy movie, a musical, a political thriller, a propoganda film and a comedy. It is a dark story of the underground and a hopeful story of a man standing for what is right. It is full of love and torture and compexities that I unravel every time I watch it. The story revolves around impossible choices spinning in a world of grainy gray.
I don’t have a ‘favorite’ movie per say, but I do love the Matrix!
GrammaG is disappointed.
I’ve probably seen this movie more than any, and it’s one of the few I can easily quote from. I love Wes Anderson, but I wonder if he’ll ever top this, his first movie, in my book?
