The neighborhoods make Baltimore feel like a bunch of little towns all grouped together into a big city. Sure, there are big city problems, but the economy and the real estate market haven’t been hit nearly as hard as it has in the rest of the country. From here you can commute to DC and work, avoiding the insane prices of the DC area, and easily go to New York, Atlantic City, or Philly for the weekend! There are also amazing parks and the Appalachian Trail if your idea of a weekend involves getting OUT of cities!

Ah, Balto. Land of The Wire. Land of Johns Hopkins Shuttles. Land of large hospital on a Pac-Man esque campaign to eat up the surrounding neighborhood and transform it into more hospital and research space.
Neither geographically beautiful nor cosmopolitan.
Worth living here once, but never again.
I wouldnt want to live in Baltimore permanently. It is too depressing! You wont understand unless you are from somewhere else and move into the city.
Living outside of the city is cool—for example all of the towns of Baltimore County, Anne Arundel county.
The roads are horrible and will mess up your car something serious. I know this may seem like a minor complaint, but move out here. My car is effed up. My mother visits and messes up her ball joints. Everyone who visits me says the same things.
Baltimore is cool if youre going to be out here for 5 years maybe—but then after that you just gotta move on. Yeah, just go to Johns Hopkins or wherever, get smart, and move on.
It’s aight, but I wouldnt make it a permanent move.
But when I move, I will miss the chicken boxes. Im not that into crabs. :P
It was fine… I like where I live now even better, though. It’s close to Baltimore, but much nicer.
September 1st, 2007. Which gives me approximately one year to get financially solvent & get out of Massachusetts. I can do this.
I will be moving the weekend of July 8th.
Do any hotels allow pets? I’m bringing my cat and I won’t be able to drive 14 hours straight.
I suppose I shall write more about this later, but I think it’s reasonable to give up on this one. I can have a good time no matter where I’m living.
