How to go back to high school
How I did it: Iv dropped school a few times.
Last time I was there was 2 years ago...
I called in a week before and asked if it was ok if I came back, and if I could do it for free still.
They said yes.
I procrastinated for a week and finally pushed myself to get it done...didnt have any bus fare so I had to Skateboard over the bridge and down the street.
they set me up with an appointment for later that day, and the acedemic adviser ended up being late so I eneded up waiting around for a few hours. (Lucky for me I brought a book)
When I finally got in she remembered me from before and we had some really good conversation.
Turns out I only have to do two grade 12 courses to pass! and they can both be art!
So Stoked!
So it took all day and alot of exercise but it was well worth it.
:)
Lessons & tips: Stop procrastinating.
Try and find somewhere you can do self paced.
There are many adult education centres.
Good luck!

I miss high school more than anything. The friends, the classes, the skipping, the teasing, the laughing, the lunches, the laziness, the shopping, the crepes, the pictures, the quotes, the junior year, the 2005 seniors, the fundraisers, the car problems, the books, the walking, the talking, the singing, the couch, the randomness, and the happiness. I miss it all, but it’s so sad to know I can’t go back anymore. I miss you all and even though I thought it sucked, it didn’t. They were some of the best years…ever.
I go back on Monday. Even though I’m not back yet, I know this will be worth doing. Sure, a GED could have worked…but there’s nothing like getting up there with a cap and gown on and knowing you earned the real, genuine thing. =)
I’ve been at school for a month now, and am loving every day that I’m there. I’m more than glad I did it.
I start eleventh grade on January 31st 2006 – I have already finished high school, but I didn’t do as well as I would have liked the first time around. I’m confident that this time, I’ll do it right.
hmmm…I had a good time in high school…but after college you couldn’t PAY me enough money to go back! After high school you realize that the world is much bigger than you ever imagined…not everyone is prissy…..and the real world is a lot harder than they lead you to believe in high school. Gossip sucks and people learn that quick. I find it interesting that your summer out of high school…looking forward to college…you are already ready to go back. Hmmmm :O)
