RuthG is going to walk her dog-body.
Out of bed, still in jammies, usually I have just been sitting on the sofa, letting some of the day’s to-dos drift through my consciousness, then releasing them to God & affirming that today I want to live in intimacy with God. I’m not taking much time for this, maybe just 3-5 minutes most days. But it has been a quiet, sweet time, & I know it is increasing my peace & groundedness. I intend to continue!

I have a rhythm of reading the Bible & praying before I go to bed. That time works well because I’m not a morning person. But I have just realized that I am in need of also starting the day in meditative quiet rather than just plunging into activities. I will check off this goal once I’ve established the rhythm most mornings for a whole month. (It’s OK to occasionally miss, but I don’t think I’ll want to.)
