Looks like my 1st work with mosaic pieces, marbles and assorted bling is actually gonna be in my kitchen floor. (Yumm-eee).

Turns out that working out the floor tile to come out ‘exactly’, meaning ensuring full tiles, without small edges cut off to make them fit, resulted in a 9/8th” leftover space. What to do?

The space, all around and inside the border, except under cupboards will be taken up with bits of bling!!! (glass hearts, marbles, shards, silver embellishments …:) So exciting. Now for the practice board. 18 months ago

Well, the fun ones … a few bags of tiny tiles and glass bits in mixed colours – and on sale! Got the safety glasses and grout too, but don’t yet have the backing. Still need to do some research on that.

And I need to decide if I’m going to do a mirror which is desperately needed for the one bathroom that we have in the ‘dream house’. I hesitate on that though. I’m thinking it will interfere with the ‘Caribbean’ colour palette of my beautiful glass tiles. So, I’m kinda leaning toward redoing the ruined surface of 2 little wrought iron tables.
