I had and grew a peach and an apple tree each for a number of years, but one got struck by lightening, the other got infected with some bugs that killed it.
The apples were typically like granny smith, but the peaches were so delicious. Too bad we don’t have either, because they would be so fun for the kids and I to pick.
I’ve grown zucchini, eggplants, all the various colored peppers (sweet) and cherry tomatoes. The veggies all started as little plants we got at Home Depot. This is the 2nd year we’ve had them, but the zucchini plant died. We are waiting for our 2nd round of veggies, though, the cherry tomato plants give year round yummy tomatoes. 3 years ago
