join a protest

On April 6th, 2006 I joined hundreds of students (Latinos to Caucasians to Polynesians) from my school as well as the 3 other schools in our district to march against the Mexican Immigrantion Laws. There was a huge turn out as we walkeed from Belmont to Redwood City (about 6 miles). At, I think, 10 AM everyone left class wearing white shirts and met in the parking lot to do the march. We made the news and it was a very good experience. I also met my boyfriend during the walk-out :)

I think it was last year, or two years ago, I protested in the anti-war protest. Living in DC, I could probably protest anything, all the groups come here!

It was an anti-war protest in my local town. We gathered, we marched and we rocked. I also got told off by ‘the authorities’ for starting nasty chants about Blair and Bush :)
The atmosphere was electric.

freezing cold but totally worth it. even tho we still lost to the crazies in the end.
