OrangeAppled is not going to pine for the things that can never be hers.
Now I don’t know whether to replace my digital camera or get a lomo…I want a diana or holga & they are lot cheaper than a digital anyway….

Got it off ebay and sank a couple hundred into repairing it. This reminds me I really should use that baby a lot more.
drin is smoking too much.
I’ve got three of them.
They turn out the strangest photos,
and their bright clunky look is a
pretty decent conversation starter :]

but with high expectations for coolness, and this camera may just be the thing to take the kind of photos I want. Forget reality, I want saturated & dreamlike memories.
i haven’t been on 43 things lately, but i reread my goals and realized my aunt gave me a fisheye lomo camera for christmas. it turns out neat, but i don’t have a scanner so i can’t share any of the photos i took. bah.
i want a holga next, or just learn how to play around with photoshop so it looks like i have a holga camera.
got my lomo tuesday and am so glad i did. expect to be shot at if you live round kettering area :) x
I got a Fisheye No. 2 and I’m having a blast playing with it. One down, a bunch more to go! ;-)
What I really want next is a Horizon Perfekt… then an LCA+... the list goes on!
Everyone who’s into eye popping rich color combined with unique effects should own a camera from Lomo. I once had an affair with Lomo’s Super Sampler and we made sweet photographic love all the time. Then my friend Kylie broke it. Never pull its rip cord toooooo hard – we’re not skydiving! My LC-A works wonders as well. Get creative and try cross processing your images. If you buy one, tell only your closest friends – people will want to steal your amazing camera.
