I’m going to do this by:
-Making changes slowly
-Eating a proper lunch, not just rubbish
-Stop drinking calories i.e. no more juice
-Eating more protein 2 years ago
I have today started making changes to help me be happy with my body. I have progressively put on weight for the last 5 years. My eating habits have gotten worse and worse and I am at the point now where I hate my body.
I have decided that I need to change everything about my life. Its not just food and exercise, and finding time and all the excuses I have made, it everything, there will always be an excuse and a reason to eat bad food, and i will never have enough time to fit everything, and I’m never going to get anymore energy (especially not by putting on weight).
I have decided that if I’m not happy then, i am just going to eat more and get lazier. I want to be proud of my body, I want to be able to wear anything, not always trying to cover my tummy, or my thighs.
Today I started a program called body trim, I have a 3 day detox first and it seems like a good program, lots of choice no calorie counting. I will be starting yoga every morning including weekends and monday to friday i will do a 3.5Km walk to work.
I already feel a change I already feel more confident. 2 years ago
I was a size 6/8 last year but I’ve now gone up to a 10/12 after being at university. Also put on 1 and a half stone.
I’m not overly worried about my weight, I still consider a 10/12 to be perfectly fine however I can’t fit into any of my clothes from last year and people from back home commented on my weight gain so would just like to get back to how I was, and not continue how I am at the moment.
I’m not going on any major diets, just trying to be healthier and cut out chocolate, cakes and alcohol to once a week; both for my general health and cost.
Try and get back into eating more fruit (since I got to uni I started substituting fruit for cakes etc. because it worked out cheaper.), drink more water, and spend more time at the gym.
Ideally I want to see a change by July-ish time when I return home for the summer however I’d like to be back to a comfortable size 8 by this time next year. Here’s to hoping. 4 years ago
i would like to drop one dress size form 10 to 8…i like my body shape, but i need to tone up a bit and maybe lose a few kilos, i have joined the Gym and have stopped eating at the Cafeteria at work, taking my own lunch, eating at home more, cut take out to about once a week. lets see how it goes 5 years ago
