How I did it: College helps a lot. My friends and I found housing that held us each accountable for our own leases, so that everyone was able to worry only about themselves. We never had issues with anyone not paying rent on time, because it didn't effect the rest of us. Once we all signed we all moved in together.
Our male best friends are our neighbors--a choice I'm not sure that I'd make again, but I am absolutely thrilled to have the experience. It's taught me to be a diplomat, and I am sure I can deal with any roommate situation that would arise in the future.

This is done but I haven’t finished unpacking yet and until that’s done it doesn’t count. I’d post you some pics but my interet at my new home isn’t working yet.

oooohh I’m getting excited. We pick the keys up and sign the contracts tomorrow at 4:30ish. I’ve spent most of the night packing and feel barely half way but I have a week overlap in my existing place so should all be fine.

are complete and the agents are just waiting on the last references to get back, but they seem confident that all will be fine and have arranged for use to get the keys and sign the paperwork on Friday. This weekend is gonna be a busy one.

Some other people are interested in our flat. Got a form to fill in and then just wait for references to come back and see who they decide on.
In the mean time I’ve got some other stuff to sort out now. One of my cars is hopefully going to be sold within the week and the other I’m going to have to find somewhere to put it as it’s unlikely we’re going to get a place with parking. I have a friend who may be able to help with that.

We went to look at this place last night and it was brilliant. Soooo not the pokey hole I thought is was going to be. It had real character, two fair size rooms, a large front room and then two mahhhooosive rooms, and all slap bang in the middle of town. We’re going for it. Gonna have to wait till 12 to find out any more. I might explode before then!!

Is our first flat viewing. A place in the very centre of town. A 4 bedrom place for £850. Will require finding a 4th person and seems a little too cheap to be true, but tomorrow we shall see!
Time to move on

I’ve been living at my current place as a lodger for 3 years and I need a change. It’s been playing on my mind to do this for awhile and now after speaking to a couple of my best friends turns out they’re thinking much the same. So we’ve agreed to get a place together. The hunting starts now!
