Sing on a street corner

we were homeless and needed money,I used the voice God gave me and it helped alott.

I need to keep taking my turn up in front of the few people who come to open mic…. It is simply that, need the exposure…. lessen my fears, work my way into comfortable… I need to start adding a few dimensions to demonstrate “freedom” to self…. like adopting an attitude and delivering an act, instead of just climbing up there…. and add a costume prop…...

It’s what I’ve been working for all my life…. I may as well do it. I can. I know a lot of songs. I could put down my guitar case and I might finally earn a few pennies playing and singing…. never earned anything doing it before and I’ve been playing 40 years. It has been fun, even if I never got great at it… I am satisfied with my music. I could even air out my original songs. God knows they need to be heard… I have poured a lot of me into them and I’m pretty darned important…. if only to me.

not sure why, but i have always wanted to do this. i have a bit of stage fright, but this might be a bit easier. i always wanted to do it with my brother. maybe someday, i’ll get to do it!
