get into a nice school

I’m marking this goal as done with no doubt.

Cause it’s offical right now,
In September, I’m gonna start that brand new school,

Middle East Technical University!

I still can’t believe that the one who is gonna be a part of that wonderful school is ME, not anyone else :DDDDDD

As I told you, it’s one of the best also the most challencing university here in Turkey, and it has got a city-like bigggggg campus with 22,000 students with high standards of education and wonderful opportunities!!!

I’m so damn glad about my decision about studying Sociology too, I’m simply, turely, intensely HAPPY right now.

Thanks EVERYONE who always supported, believed and cheered me on this goal of mine.

And thank you universe!!!

I sent all of my applications today!
I think I’ll probably get into,

• METU-Sociology
• Hacettepe University – Architecture and Design stuff
• Marmara University – (French) Politics

I’ll figure which school I get in on 20th August! Can’t wait to learn it!

Right now, there’s one thing I’m sure about:

I’ll be a university student and will be moved to a new city by this September, Hurray!!!

Well..
Before I start to say sth I want to apologize from everyone for keep saying my university entrance examination was bullshitty. Because it clearly was not that bad in case I can get into many many places with this score.

And nowadays I’m thinking of a new alternative.

As a child I always wanted to be an architect and a designer.

And now I see that my score and other things are enough to get into Hacettepe University – ?�imarl?k ve �vre Tasar?m?. Hacettepe is one of those best universities here too. That would make my parents kinda proud to study there.

Plus, I’ll always be related with art as I always wanted to be and seriously, if I apply to this school, I’ll probably get in.

On the other hand I’ve never been sure if architecture is my thing.

And well, my score is enough to get into Istanbul University – Political Science and International Relations too. This university is more than 500 years old and a good one indeed. + That subject sounds exciting too!

I’m so so so dammmmmnnnnnnnn confused about what to do & where to apply or go.

The worst thing is I have to decide it within only a few days.

Well, the school I told about at my previous entry [Marmara University – Politics (In French)] sounds like perfect for me, and the score I did is so much more than the score they want.

But since I got a better score than I expected, there’s now a possiblity to get into METU – Sociology too, which is one of the best university here in Turkey. And it’s hard to refuse a chance to be there.

Uhmm.. Actually METU is at Ankara and I hate that city.
And If I go to that school, I won’t be learning French.
But sociology is a very nice subject to study. And METU sociology is one of the best in Europe they say.
METU is also the best and that would be really cool to be a student there.
And I’ve got all my friends at METU who are almost begging me to come there.

I’m so damn confused right now.
I thought I would be carefree after learning my score.
Hell, no, I’m not.

Today, I finally learned my university entrance test’s score from the offical website of ÖSYM (Student Selection and Placement Center).

Aannnd, it seems like, this september, I’m gonna be a university student :)

If I don’t find any nicer alternative, I think I will probably get into that school in Istanbul, that I told you about on one of my previous entries and I will study French and Politics. Or actually Politics in French. (It’s offical name is: Département des sciences politiques et administratives.)

It’s really a hard school, I mean both language and a major in Politics is already tough but I think I can handle it.

The school is located at the heart of Istanbul and it’s zero minutes away from the beautiful Bosphorus and it’s view :)

I’m excited that I’m gonna get involved with the alive and kicking life in Istanbul :)

I know, it’s gonna suck sometimes, Istanbul is more than 10 millions and gonna be exhausting… But.. What the hell who cares!!

I freaking feel like studying Sociology or Politics I guess…

I’m gonna find out my score in bloody 10 hours!
So I’m gonna figure out if I can do this or not in 10 hours too!

I think I might be about to throw up :S F..king nervous still.

My mom is driving me TOTALLY crazy. And it seems like she will keep doing this for at least a few weeks.

I’ve told her a zillion times that I DO NOT WANT TO BE A TEACHER AND IT IS SOOO NOT MY THING.

But she knows that my score is gonna be enough for it and insisting me to apply to Teaching Faculties.

I decided that I’m gonna apply to METU – Department of Sociology too.

METU is one of the best university in Turkey, it has got a biggg and wonderfulllll campus which I’d die to be a part of it + It has got a wonderful social life with really good student clubs, also the university is internationally well-known and got good connections.

Well, my actual dream was to study Psychology at METU, but since I think my score probably won’t be enough to make it, I started to think of Sociology too. Cause in case I get into Sociology I’d have a change to study Psychology as a second major if I’m good enough.

Though Ankara is probably the ugliest capital of the universe, METU is nice enough and all of my good buddies (seriously, all of them) from High School are at METU…!!

So, for now there are already two certain places that I think I’ll apply:

• METU – Department of Sociology
• Marmara University – Département des sciences politiques et administratives

I reeaaalllyyy hope I can get into one of them. It’s not impossible.

I figured out a new and really cool&good school which I think I should add to “Schools to be applied” list.

The department that I’m gonna apply to has got a really good French education first, cause it’s opened by collectively by French Embassy and Turks. And it’s related to such good universities like, Sorbonne, ENA etc. in France. And it’s name is Département des sciences politiques et administratives.

Plus, the school is located at the one of the nicest part of Istanbul, it’s near to beautiful Bosphorus and that department is a historical building that you can see in the pic!
(The Old French Embassy or sth like that.)

My score may be enough to get in there, ahhh I hope I can make it work!!!!
