    I’ve always been easily bored with eating the same things regularly so I could never manage to stick with bringing my lunch to work. But, with the economy sucking so bad, I thought now was a good time to start. I started making batches of things and freezing them into lunch sized portions. Now I can still have variety during the week, not have the excuse of “I forgot to make something”, and I’ll save money and eat healthier by preparing my food myself.

    It’s working pretty well so far! I think i need to make smaller batches of my meals, however, because I’m starting to get bored with the same rotation. I tried to get people to start a freezer meal club with me so I could have a month’s worth of unique meals frozen and ready to go but it never took off. Sad. Anyway, I’ve noticed I take a lot less cash out of the ATM and I am eating healthier. It’s great because it ties into my goal of losing weight and paying off debt!
