so I bought the violin, and need to start practicing! I picked it up and boy not playing for a couple years has shown!
How I did it: I took lessons through my college. Every week I went to see my instructor for half an hour. It took a lot of practice. I worked through the first suzuki book with him in just one school year. And that was moving pretty slowly.
Resources: I had my own violin.

BluePlasticStraw is reminding herself that goals are important
I had to sell my violin, so this goal is going on standby. Fortunately, I was able to sell it to a family member, so hopefully I’ll be able to buy it back someday.
I started playing at about age 7… Suzuki method. Played in orchestras and ensembles all through school and college but stopped after college. I would love to play again but it’s so hard to get started.

The last time I picked it up I sucked so bad I almost cried. There are a lot of scales in my future.
