How I did it: I started with going through everything I already had and got rid of things I don't wear.Once my closet was cleaned out I started buying new things a bit at a time. I had to ask myself if I really liked it, if I had a need for it and if it was flattering to my figure. Being plus sized it's difficult to find things that meet all those criteria. I realized I had been buying things just because they were cheap and fit. I guess I got into the… Read how I did it…

How I did it: The beginning of the summer was the perfect reason to sort out my clothes. and I found really nice ones which I already forgot to have. I accepted that I'll never fit in some of my T-shirts again - and gave them away. And I spended some money to buy some new clothes. And this time these are more colorful as usally. Normally I'm only wearing black and dark colors. My new ones are lighter and I'm feeling better. :) Read how I did it…

How I did it: Had too much lying around in my wardrobes, so took it all out, and did the process of elimination, i actually found a few forgotten numbers, and did some DIY also, then rest of the clothes just popped them in a bag and off to the charity shop Read how I did it…

And I’m not sure what exactly I need to do before I can check it off.
I guess my style has improved overall.
Back in the day, I used to wear a lot of tshirts, with zip-ups, and jeans, and sneakers.
Now I wear more dresses, skirts, shoes, and blouses.
But I still think I need:
Winter boots (for warmth!)
Dressy tops (just two or so)
Classy sunglasses (one pair)
A scarf! (or two)
More jewelry, unique jewelry (bracelets, rings, necklaces, earrings)
A belt for pants, and another belt to use for shirts or dresses
A vest maybe?
Oh and a stylish jacket :) leather? denim?

i’ve recently purchase my very first shorty shorts at a surplus shop near my workplace. i sooo love it. its american eagle and its made of jeans and its tattered… perfect outfit when strolling.
and the best part of it is that i got very, very, very, very cheap.. it really is a steal!!!
the next thing that i bought was an off white kashieca polo shirt. it has an ornament, the one that you use to hold a skirt up… sorry i forgot the detail… and of course the best part of it is that i got it on SALE… heheheheh
also on that same day, i bought my very first havaianas. its metalic white and slim. its quite expensive here in our country and so its not easy to buy one that easy.
but if theres one category in fashion that i invest, and that is the shoe department. i invest in branded shoes because of the quality… and they really do go a long way…

Most of my clothes are so boring. Solid colors. Plain styles. Blah, blah, blah.
I’ve already started on this goal; got some new pieces with actual designs on them and stuff. I bought a few dresses that are more daring than I usually wear, and by daring I don’t mean sexy or that kind of thing, I mean stylish/current/interesting.
I have a long way to go, though. I’ve had some of my clothes since High School, and my 10-year High School reunion was a few years ago so . . . that’s pretty bad.
I’m trying to convince myself it is okay to, every coupla decades, spend some money on myself. I still feel a bit twitchy about it.

i’m doing this! :) i’ve brought some wardrobe essentials, yay. 1 grey cardigan and a black one too from Dot, perkins. A long sleeved white top is coming from ebay. I have already got some nice boots & trainers and jeans. Some strappy tops/vests would be nice.
Some of my old clothes are going to the charity shop.

i would like to change my style from a dorky, rag style (sounds funny but true!) to a more modern laid back casual chic…
i’d like to revamp almost all department of my wardrobe
i’m going to start with my casual clothes… i noticed that there’s a scarcity of tees in my closet. i only got a handful. tees are a staple here in my location where the climate is very humid and cotton fabric are in demand.

Every time I have a chance to purchase a new shirt, or skirt, I do. My financial situation is getting better so soon I will be able to buy more ‘high quality’ items to round out my wardrobe. I would like to vary what I wear especially now that I have more people to impress and wow. :) My body (aka weight) has stabilized as well so buying clothes that will last should be worth the investment.
I want my wardrobe to be more sophisticated. Right now I’m making a list of what styles I like and what basics I need.
kitart is sooooooooooo happy its the weekend.
I found two pairs of pants that are brand new hidden under a pile of stuff. All they needed to be wearable was to be hemmed. That’s done and my wardrobe possibilities have expanded. I have an entire garbage bag full of shoes that I purged. I’m going to take them to school to let my student draw them.

I have had clothes spilling out of the closet, out of dresser drawers, piles of them on the floor. It has been totally out of control….and still I find myself standing in front of the closet wondering what I could possibly wear. This morning I finally got started and now have two garbage bags full of clothes to take to Goodwill. That’s a lot but I still think I need to purge a bit more. I want my style to reflect the different aspects of myself. For school (I’m a teacher) I want to have a classic, if not quite severe style. However, at home I am a romantic and want to embrace that. So now I need to go through my clothes and see what I have and what I need and what just needs repairing. I love clothes so this is really not a difficult goal for me. I just have to curb my love of shopping and remember that it should really be more about quality and not quantity.
