Crochet something for myself

I made my swatch, and it checked out, so I’m ready to go. I’ve got four rows done. I should add that the rows are 70 stitches long, so that’s something.

I had hit a snag – I couldn’t find the yarn I wanted to make this with in stores. I was about to get it online when I tried my local craft store one more time on Sunday and bam! There is was. Now I just have to get started!

I wanted to make myself something I could wear, that was more complex than a hat or a scarf, but not TOO difficult. I hit upon this sweater. Only one button, not too many weird stitches, and a non-wool yarn that shouldn’t break the bank. Now I just have to start…
