How to have 43people help Flirt's 43things Teddy Bear travel around the world!!!"This was a great way to see the world vicariously through a teddy bear's eyes."
How I did it: I made a stuffed bear and named him Snickerdoodle MacBear. Then I invited my 43T friends from around the world to help me out by hosting Snicks in their home and showing him around their city/country. Lessons & tips: One thing I learned from other similar goals on 43T was to be selective in who Snicks visits. Other goals had problems with their mascot disappearing, Everyone on this goal was very responsible and things went very smoothly.

Niel is figuring out if he likes what he's doing.
How I did it: Snicks arrived from Milwaukee in a box at the home I was visiting in Phoenix. I took him with me on the aircraft to Madrid, where we went sightseeing and relaxed. Then I brought him to South Africa, where I took him with me to work and to the places I went to. I used him as a prop in one of my Toastmasters speeches. I took lots of pictures, and helped him post them on his Flickr page, and lent him my computer so that he could write up his… Read how I did it…

From the bell tower I also got a picture of the ceramic figurines of mythical animals that decorate the roofs.

We went up in the bell tower. There’s a big bell. I’m sitting on the swinging beam that is used to ring the bell. I don’t know what the bell sounds like, because there was a sign up that says “Please do not hit the bell.”

The whole temple is colourfully painted. I’m standing next to one of the decorative lotus flowers that line the walkways.

We had to take off our shoes before could enter the shrine. It’s a place of quiet devotion.

Past me to my left you can see the big black censer that stands in the middle of the courtyard.

Today we went to the biggest Buddhist temple in Africa, the Nan Hua temple in Bronkhorstspruit.
This is the gate to the temple, very colourful.

redbandita asks,
“Is the order of visits according to geography or whenever people joined the team? Can you share it (per this goal, 43mail or otherwise) so we can see when it might be our turn? On bookrings on bookcrossing, people tend to order them geographically”
