look at the world through a child's eyes

A friend and I laughed about “poop being my life” for about 20 minuets now if that’s not childish I don’t know what is :) I can honestly say that I went from being in a chair to lying on the floor gasping for air it was AWESOME!

I found the neatest thing! I found a ordiment with bangels in it!!! when you shook it it sounded great! and I danced to it, in walmart, amber was thoroughly embarrassed. it was a great day!

Have we all forgotten how, already? Especially when there are literally children around us every day in ALL of our societies. Is there any society on this earth with any absence of children from which we adults can learn from???

How is it that we all forgot how to look at things from within a child’s eyes? I think the only people that can even come close to understanding this … are those children’s mothers. Fathers, sometimes, but not as much.

I just realized I’ve acomplished this goal. Whenever I go into a department store and find myself in the toy section, I still browse the shelves in wonder at what I would buy myself if I was a little girl. Yesterday while shopping for Halloween candy, I came across Krusty Krab gummy burgers and bought some just to sample them. How chillike can that be?

Our grandson went on a trip in a semi-truck and I felt pangs of envy. It was a great experience for him. I guess I have a little child still inside of me. I still look forward to the midway at the fair and I am planning to take my grandson to a haunted house this Halloween if his mother gives permission.

do you think that would make me immature? Sometimes I look at something..like a vinyl figure and I think it is so adorably cute! Am I being immature? But why can’t adults like cute things too? Just because we are older doesn’t mean we don’t appreciate nice looking things! I mean..just ask the older men with arm candy on their arms! Now who is being childish? LOL!

It’s so amazing how my children can help me to rediscover things I might not do as often anymore, such as just look up to the sky and see the white clouds passing by, or admire a full moon in all it’s splendor or observe how a butterfly plays with the flowers in a garden…

Working with little children has helped me a great deal with this. When you do you get this kind of warm fuzzy feeling .. It makes you smile and helps you look at life with a whole new perspective .. You have the capacity to not take it seriously. It keeps to make light of a whole lot of situation …
