Perform on stage again

I’ve been performing all my life but one unfortunate event made me search for answers if I really wanted to perform all my life and eventually make it for a living.

I have been breathing the performing arts ever since I can remember. And I even took Music for college.. well for 3 years. But the pressure and lack of inspiration held me back in achieving my goals. Though I didn’t regret any of my choices, there’s still a part of me that loves performing. Now God is telling me to go and venture on the things I want.

It’s never too late! God planned a better future for me. :)

last time i was on stage was in feb 2007, while i was at uni. I will do it again, sometime in the next year.I just have to settle down first.

well, doesn’t look like I’ll be in the musical, I have other priorities. But anyway, maybe one day I’ll be in a musical..

do u reckon a Rock Eisteddfod performance counts? It’s just dancing? well I suppose that’s my decision eh..

and for me it doesn’t cut it!

This year school is doing Pirates of Penzance, and I should be in the chorus, actually I am really, there aren’t auditions for chorus everyone gets in due to small numbers, it’s more a matter of commitment on my behalf.
Last year they did Oliver and was very jealous from all the fun they had.

But we’ll see, I have to sort out my priorities.

I used to sing in choir in high school, while at the same time being in various bands that usually fell apart.

My best memory of singing on stage with the choir was when we went to Disney’s music fest to compete against other choirs across the nataion. We won that year, and the next year we went back and won again.

My goal is to sing again in front of a large audience again, whether it be in a band or in another choir. I miss the stage.

and it was so worth it. just fun. there’s a reason they call it a “play” you know.

I used to be an actor by trade. I toured and traveled the country with a theater group. It now has been almost 5 years since I have performed and I have a dot.com job. I wish to change that.

I’m in the middle of doing this one right now- I’m Mrs. Crachit in a community theater production of A Christmas Carol.

I did theater in high school and took voice classes, and I miss the rush of being on stage and expressing myself that way. I’d love to be able to do it again, but theater is exremely time consuming. I guess this is a someday goal, unless someone increases the number of hours in a day!
