For someone who lives in the midwest, skiing the rockies was like eating that never ending bowl of ice-cream we all dreamt about as a little kid.
Despite all logic and reason, the hill just keeps coming and coming and coming and coming . . . . seeing the lift at the bottom usually came more as a suprise than a disappointment.
I skiied Park City, Utah with my folks back when I was 14 or so and will never forget it. I tried looking at their website for prices now that I have a little more money and could go with some friends . . . only to find that you have to submit for a quote . Personally, I think that’s disgusting, and until that changes, I’ll ski elsewhere in North America’s largest mountain chain.

...amazing stuff. I will go there again. If you that the Alps are THE place to be,... then you probably have not seen these resorts yet.
Utah will be next on my list :-)

It’s gorgeous. I got mild altitude sickness, though.

... and Idaho and Montana, and also in British Columbia
It’s very much worth doing.

I spent some beautiful days in one of the funniest hostels so far and would like to go back there again some time in the near future to get exposed to some more of this Champagne Powder stuff in Aspen, CO.

Came back home to Denmark today from the wonderful town of Aspen in Colorado. My first ski-trip outside Europe.
