How I did it: I have been a smart phone user since the beginning of forever! I was hesitant because I am a pocket pc user, the phone i lost was a htc tilt. This phone is okay for business use, it isn't as slick and integrated as my pocket pc, but it is way more functional for LIFE IN GENERAL. Since I am no longer a primarily business user, I am very pleased with the phone. It has taken two days of my life learning and enjoying all the new feature, and I wouldn't ask for them back. How I did it: I had to wait for my Verizon contract to end first of all. Then I had to save the money for an iPhone. Finally me and my SO left the house at 2 or 3am so we could get to the store early and wait in line. The website said they'd have some in stock. I hesitate enough with this in order to turn it into an incentive for finishing my paper. Can’t spend a thousand Euros when I’ve been bad, bad, bad (or not good enough). I would have waited until New York, but if we don’t do the trip, I’ll just hand over the money to a German import firm. Sometime soon. An air lever always comes in handy.

So I my medical bills came in the mail today and really bummed, because if I pay them I will have to wait until July 15th to get my iPhone. Its the responsible thing to do, but sometimes being an adult sucks!!!!!!
I don’t want to deal with T-Mobile ever again, but since they keep the exclusive rights, it’s a real hassle to get ahold of an unlocked iPhone around here. I guess that I wouldn’t put this goal up here otherwise. ;-)

Since I am replacing my laptop with the iPhone for the next few months, it is a justified purchase. I don’t know how I will live without my photo-editing software, or the ability to upload to flicr, but I am sure I will figure something out.
I watched several product reviews on YouTube and compared with the BlackBerry. I have to say, this is quite an impressive little tool & can see how my laptop & desktop computers will quickly become paperweights once I get the hang of it.
I’m torn between waiting for the new iPhone (air, nextgen, whatever), or getting some other phone, a cheap one, straight ahead, ‘cos my old phone is so unreliable. It makes whistling noises at whoever calls – not nice. But the Nokia N97 looks good too… and the Samsung i8910 OMNIA HD isn’t bad either. Don’t wanna wait so much longer!
My iPhone was jacked 2 months ago.
Now I wish I can get a new one as soon as possible, because its so freaking convenient and COOL.
