enhance my memory

when i was in school, i experienced difficulties to memorize shorts poems. i always rely on my understanding and mnemo-technics rather than simple memory.
now i not able to keep a phone number in mind without having dialed many many times! and worst: i often don’t even recognize people that i have met once… this is quite a disaster for my social life!
