Under 18s must go to their local council and declare themselves homeless. Be DETERMINED because they will try and turn you away. Say you have absolutely NOWHERE to sleep. Tell them that the night before you came to see them that you slept on a bus or the street.
If you do not want to go to the council, go to Alone in London in Kings Cross and tell them the story above(homeless,bus,street)^^.
Keep in mind that you WILL be turned away so bring bags of clothes and look dirty. They’ll wanna contact your parents warn your parents of what they must say to confirm that you are homeless.
From this process, you will be put into an emergency hostel which can cos anything from £5-£25PerWeek rent.
Any ages
Go to the council in the borough of your choice (preferably one where a friend lives) and say that you have been living with them for 6months, doing this means that you will be signed up to that boroughs housing list.
Women get pregnant, say you are gay and fleeing homophobic violence. (These things are not easy to lie about!)
Men Say you are gay and fleeing homophobic violence
You won’t believe how difficult it is for men to be housed so unless you have money to pay full £300PW rent for a shed, you’ll have to lie.
OR! If you have money, rent privately from sites like gumtree. Maybe get flatmates to help split the rent.
