How I did it: I've been wanting to get a guitar for a couple years now, but never went ahead with buying one until last weekend. I saw a Squier SE 100 Strat pack on clearance at musicians friend over labor day weekend and bought it. 199-100(coupon) = $99 for guitar, stand, amp, instructional dvd, and bag. I don't know a lot of chords so far, but its been a lot of fun just strumming for hours to the few chords im learning. Lessons & tips: Do it! Resources: Reviews really helped and various people I asked said it was too good a deal to pass up. |

Spent a lot of the money on minutes for my cell phone, and other things. It’s basically been put on the backburner… but I hope I can accomplish this goal before the year is through… if not, there’s always (unfortunately) next year!

I got my first check in the mail finally for babysitting last week… I would have enough money probably by the time I get my next check. I’m unfortunately going to be using some of the money for Netflix and for putting more minutes on my cell phone… but hopefully with the next few checks I get, I will be able to buy the guitar I want!

I’ll hopefully do that this year sometime after being able to save money from the baby-sitting job I’m going to start doing next week! I’m thinking a Fender acoustic guitar.

my mother finally agreed to buy me a guitar, so now the problem is the choice… after reading opinions in the internet, I decided on Hohner HC-06 :D is it a good choice?

I’m not really musically talented in any way, but I want to play guitar so badly!
Maybe I’ll manage to get one as a gift on 1.06 but it’s only if I manage to convince my mother, and she isn’t fond of the idea xD If not, I’ll buy it as soon as I will save the money.

Madeira acoustic guitar. It’s not new, but I’m fine with that.
I’m looking forward to learning some notes and maybe a tune or two eventually.
