How I did it: I've been wanting to get a guitar for a couple years now, but never went ahead with buying one until last weekend. I saw a Squier SE 100 Strat pack on clearance at musicians friend over labor day weekend and bought it. 199-100(coupon) = $99 for guitar, stand, amp, instructional dvd, and bag. I don't know a lot of chords so far, but its been a lot of fun just strumming for hours to the few chords im learning.

    I finally just bought one online before I blew the money most likely on more minutes for my phone so I can talk to my boyfriend. I obviously love my boyfriend but had I not have taken the plunge I probably never would’ve this year, thus not accomplishing one of my goals this year,

    I didn’t buy one, but was lent one. I have it on one condition: I have to send songs to the person that lent it to me. I guess that means I can combine this thing with the “learn to upload and edit video” thing. Also, I think I may learn songs in Spanish, so that will be three things in one!

    I got my first check in the mail finally for babysitting last week… I would have enough money probably by the time I get my next check. I’m unfortunately going to be using some of the money for Netflix and for putting more minutes on my cell phone… but hopefully with the next few checks I get, I will be able to buy the guitar I want!
