i got it illegally (at 15) with my best friend, they’re matching musical notes (in spanish is “corchea” no idea how to say it on english) but i don’t like where it is ): i thought i’ll never get it removed because i really love her and now we’re planning on living together. Now i want to get another tattoo on my arm, and she said she wanted the same (i hate that we can’t stop thinking the same), so maybe i’ll ask her if we could get that one, and i could remove the old one without her feeling hurt.

How I did it: my parents found out about a peace sign tattoo i got and said they wouldnt pay for college unless i got it removed. sooooo i did. it was only a square inch so mine was $75 per treatment (without painkillers) after i researched online and found i was getting ripped off by the $350/treatment doctor my mom took me to the first time. Please will someone let me know how much it will cost to get it cut off and who will do it.

I’m really disappointed. I have to amend my previous pronouncement that it’s not painful. The laser itself doesn’t hurt because of the anesthetic, but that wears off pretty quickly. My second and third treatments bled through the bandage before I got home. The worst thing is that it’s like a festering burn for more than two weeks afterward, it’s extremely itchy and painful. Well no, that’s not the worst part. This is the worst part: THERE IS VIRTUALLY NO DIFFERENCE. No fading, except for slight fading in the center of the stars, and it’s uneven and gross. So here I am, with a terribly scarred, sore neck, and $600 poorer. If it weren’t the back of my neck, I’d just get a scalpel and snip out the ink myself. What a blower.
lia is the shittiest wife ever.
I tend to be flip-floppy on everything in life, I don’t know what made me think I could commit to having ink on me for the rest of my life. I miss my pure, pristine skin.
For anyone who has heard that having a tattoo removed is more painful than getting it: IT’S A LIE!!!
Maybe that was true 50 years ago, when all they could do was put acid on it or cut it out.
I got mine lasered 10 days ago and the doctor injected novacaine into it first, so the laser didn’t hurt at all.
It does hurt somewhat now, since it’s all scabby and whatnot, but no more than it did when it was new. Also, I’ve been bad about picking at it. But it’s so exciting when a bit of scab comes off and it has ink in it! Makes me feel like it’s working. I haven’t been able to see the difference yet in the actual tattoo, but that’s supposed to be normal. I’m looking forward to seeing it fade!
on the 12th! I know it’s going to hurt but it’ll be such a relief to get this started.
I started having my tattoo-a Pisces sign on my ankle which I got 12 years ago at the age of 18 and regretted 2 days later-removed while I was living in Ecuador. The technology was up-to-date and it was super cheap in comparison to prices in the US (about $120 a treatment) but had to leave before I could get it completely removed. Now it is just faded out and uglier than ever—I want it OFF! I actually started looking for a new design to cover the old one since I figured I could never afford laser here BUT amazingly enough the website I was checking out had an advert for a tat removal place right here in Austin AND I went in for a free consultation AND it is only going to cost me $75 a treatment!!! The place seems plenty classy as well. (no carboard shop in a back alley or anything.)
So hopefully in about 5-6 months I’ll have my ankle back to its original pre-teenage-mistake form!

I have this goofy ass tat of Felix the Cat I got it 18 years ago on my ankle. I’m not really sure what I was thinking, but then again, as a 19 year old, I probably wasn’t thinking!
I suggest that you all try TCA for tattoo removal. I’m using it and it’s working well for me! It does great!!! I will upload my pic after I get it completely removed!!! Also, you can get good prices on TCA on Ebay. Try doing an Ebay search for it! Email me if u have any questions!!! God Bless
