Got down from 117 to 84 then went back up to 90 and have been there for.. 6 months now. Have just moved interstate and am getting a bit more hardcore about my fitness while I am here, so we will see, maybe I’ll sink back down to 85 again. But to be realistic, I was riding my bike every day (no car), eating very well and going to the gym 5 times a week, and I got to 85 and peaked. Maybe my body is not meant to be 80kg. 4 years ago

Going to really cut back on food this week and see if I can definitively make it into the low 90s. That’ll be quite an improvement (to my self-esteem if nothing else). Inaugurated this plan by having way too little pizza. I will be hungry tomorrow morning, but hopefully it will be a good start. 4 years ago

I’ve been 84-85 kg for about six months now. I’m almost 6ft and I think my body is happy here. I’d be happy to concede that 84 is the ideal weight for me. Considering I started at 114 that’s not bad. But I’m not quite giving up yet. 4 years ago

When I went for this goal I was 90kg and now on the scales this morning I was 84.4. I anticipate it’ll be another month or two but it’s so close!! When I’m 79 I will be pretty happy. 5 years ago

I weighed myself this morning and I was 79.8kg. I don’t remember the last time I weighed less than 80kg. I don’t think I have in my entire adult life.
This is pretty exciting. 5 years ago

81.2kg this morning. progress makes me yay! 5 years ago

83.7kg.
Not too bad, and I think I’ve gained muscle like crazy. Plus a lot of that would have been water weight, so I’m not too fussed that it’s only a 1/2 kg loss. 5 years ago

Today’s weight was 84.1kg. Not a bad weight loss, I think. 5 years ago

according to my official sunday weigh-in, I weigh 86.2kg. I’m not quite sure how I managed to let it creep back up to that. I had my period though, and that always makes me retain water, and I know I was comfort eating after the Rob-disaster.
However, I am back on track and motivated. I really, really want to do this.
Sundays will be official weigh-in days and I’m hoping to lose about 1/2kg a week to put me on track. 5 years ago

2008 will be my third year of seriously trying to lose weight. In 2006 I only managed to lose 7kg, in the first six months, all on my own. In 2007 I managed to shed about 16kg with the help of the personal trainer at my workplace, plus a few changes in diet, methods of transport and routine. etc. This year, I want to lose at least another 10kg, taking me down to 80kg. At 90kg now, I’m already the skinniest Ive ever been in my adult life. But another 10kg and I’ll be within the healthy weight range and maybe my scales will stop telling me I’m overweight :-) It is hard to believe that it could actually happen. 5 years ago

This weeks steady diet of alcohol, alcohol, pizza, chips, chocolate, alcohol, thai, chinese, alcohol, garlic bread, alcohol, cheese, eggs and oh yeah, alcohol, means that I’ve gained a bit more weight.
I weigh about 84kg, so I’ve got to get my butt back up to the gym. Hopefully this won’t be too difficult to lose. 5 years ago

81.9kg at the moment. I think I’ll gain a bit back when we go on this week away, but hopefully not too much. I’m definitely back on track though. 5 years ago

I am fluctuating between 82 and 84kg at the moment. I’m not losing because I’m not exercising and eating right, but on the upside, I haven’t gained back a lot of weight. I know I won’t achieve this by the goal date now, but hopefully sometime soon after. 5 years ago

I guess the weights didn’t add back as quickly as I’d thought. Probably means I’ll have a minor (if any) loss next week, but I can deal with that. Only 1.3kg away from this goal being completed. And a few weeks clear of my goal date. Yay. 5 years ago

I think I’ve gained back about a kilo, but this isn’t fat. I’ve re-introduced weights into my workout, and muscle weighs more than fat, so I think I’m putting on a bit of muscle mass.
I’ll weigh next week, and hopefully I’ll have a loss to show for it. 5 years ago

Not as big a loss, but that’s to be expected really. I’m getting there though. 5 years ago

Yayers.
Today I went to the beach with my sisters, and my eldest told me that I was looking like a totally different person these days, and that it was really noticeable that I’d lost so much. That made me feel happy that other people can see the changes as well! 5 years ago

I heard someone say once that the slower you lose weight the more likely you are to keep it off. Something about getting into good habits. Anyway, at this rate I’ll be keeping it off forever = P 5 years ago

This is taking WAY longer than I anticipated. It’s my own fault though, I’ve been slack with diet and exercise and all that kind of thing. I am hoping to step it up a gear the next couple of weeks though, so I guess we’ll see how it goes. 5 years ago

This is taking me a little longer than I thought, but I’m pretty sure I should still get there in time. 5 years ago

I currently weigh 87.8kg, which means I have about 8kg to lose. Because I don’t want to rush anything, I’ve given myself roughly 16 weeks to do this, which should be more than enough. I guess now we’ll just see how it goes. 5 years ago

This is my second weightloss goal. I’m not far off my 87.9kg one, so I figured I should put a second one up to keep me motivated. When I finish my other, this will become the personal challenge. 5 years ago
