apply for a scholarship

My school put up a list of scholarships a few days ago.. the deadline being this Friday, and every one requires a faculty recommendation. So while I work close to every day until next week, I need to attend all of my classes, work, keep up with hw and projects, and find time to make the deadline.

Let’s do this. :P

EDIT: I found two $1200 scholarships to apply to. I pick up my recommendations(from chair/director people that don’t know me) in the morning, so I can then drop them back off… Crossing my fingers! I hope I get it.

EDIT#2: Everything picked up and applied for! Now comes the wait…

She’s the chair of scholarships. I sat in her office the other day, and hopefully made some sort of impression. I was inquiring about a scholarship that I likely will not qualify for, but it’s possible I will qualify for some others…

She said that I would be a good investment.

That’s heartening, at least.

It looks like DT won’t be listing any scholarships until the fall… which is disappointing.

I also need to apply to a separate program before June, which may or may not be good for me…

Im having to involuntarily ‘give up’ on this one.. as i don’t fit any of the criteria. Apparently im not struggling enough to qualify for financial support, and my good grades aren’t even worth anything, as academic achievement scholarships are only given out to yr 12 school leavers. What a bummer!

I applied for uni today – and looked up some info on scholarships available. At the moment i dont know if i fit any of the criteria.. so im not sure if this will happen =(

I just sent in my application. I hope I get something out of it, it was a pain in the butttt. I’m applying for another one this weekend.

I applied for one scholarship today! Just a small one ($500), but boy could I use it! yay, me!

I am going to log back on to my scholarship websites that I have signed up for and find at least three scholarships to apply for! Wish me luck!! xo
