so I want to be healthy so Im quitting smoking and I’m trying to eat right and Its surprisingly hard to drink 64 oz. of water that’s like a half gallon! O.o
Im on my 24th oz. and it’s in the morning so I think I can do it.
How to drink 64 ounces of water a day
How I did it: I started drinking more water once I started eating better and exercising. I stayed away from temptation. No other beverages in the house other than water and milk. I lug my plastic water bottle everywhere with me and constantly fill it up. My skin has cleared up and I feel better. When I'm exercising, i don't want to drink anything other than water. Other beverages just don't taste the same, they have become too sugary for me.
Lessons & tips: * have a water bottle and constantly fill it
* Just do it!
* Once you do it often, it'll become habit and this is an essential habit to have
* adorn it the way you like... add lemon to your water, have with ice, room temperature, or hot... however you like it
* keep track of how much you drink
* you can drink as much as you want... it's 0 calories!!!!!!
Resources: 1 plastic water bottle, water cooler, and a little consistency

i need to drink a lot of water because i herd it helps clear acne. i really hope it works. i dont really think 64 oz is too much. plus i never drink water and this will force me. :)
I need to drink water for so many reasons, main one, it’s freakin’ good for me. But I’m having a hard time with it. I like water, but I feel like I’m forcing it and this is making it miserable. So far I’ve had one bottled water (16.9 ounces)-I have 3 more to go for the day.
Woot.
First day of school.
Gives me less time to drink it because I can’t in the morning…
Don’t want to pee at school. Phobia.
But I’m remembering WELL. :]
Another successful day.
Well today was only slightly harder because I wasn’t thirsty.
The first two days, I drank 3 liters (99 ounces).
It’s almost midnight & I’ve only had 1.5 liters.
Don’t worry, I’ll finish.
& then have to pee all night, lol.
Done!
Drinking water will be soooo so so good for me.
I used to think that you’re supposed to drink 8 GLASSES of water a day & I just can’t handle that,
But I finally read up on it & it’s only 8 CUPS, or 64 ounces.
Which is like 4 glasses of water.
I have a pretty liter bottle that used to hold fiji water,
But now I’m using it as a sort of measuring bottle (that I drink from).
It’s about 33 ounces, so two a day will be good. :}
Wish me luck!
Edit: I did it!
& I didn’t drink it all at once, either.
I’m sick right now, and yesterday I drank 1 GALLON of bottled water. Yes y’all I did it! But you know what… I don’t think I can keep it up. That is just WAAY too much water. I was running to the bathroom like every 30 minutes. And although it feels good to pee (yeah I said it!) I really don’t like having to rely on the toilet so often.
I just googled exactly how many ounces 1 gallon of water is… and it’s 128 ounces!! Oh my buhjeezus!!!
But that just goes to show you, that IT’S POSSIBLE to drink 64 ounces of water if I, lil’ ol’ me, can go through 128 ounces in a day. And it actually makes the goal of 50 ounces (according to The Chicago Tribune, to divide your weight by 2) for the recommended daily intake of water, a lot more reachable.
My co-worker gave me a weight watchers water mug. It’s 32 ounces and I go through it pretty quickly while I’m at work. I’ve been drinking 8-16 ounces before work and the balance once I get home. So far, so good.
