Write a letter to 10 famous people who I admire in 2007

I don’t know how to change the title of this THING, but I still want to do it. The deadline is henceforth removed. Whew!

I never heard anything from John Irving. I think I’ll try for someone who will actually get back to me! Haha.

Well I didn’t get it done – too much to do today, and it’s 12/31, so maybe next year

Jackie Warner is the owner of the SkySportSpa in Beverly Hills and known to most people as the star of the Bravo TV series Workout.

Jackie is a great motivator. Each week on the show I found myself motivated to confront and tackle another situation in my life.

I wrote a letter today to my favorite author, John Irving. I had to send it to his publisher, Random House. I made the envelope a little interesting by using different colored ink. I’ll mail it tomorrow. Maybe he will actually read it? And maybe write me back????

I have so many faves…Barbara Kingsolver, Dan Brown, John Irving, Pat Conroy, Tom Robbins, John Steinbeck, Harper Lee, William Goldberg, J. D. Salinger, Kurt Vonnegut, John Grisham, Steven King, David Guterson, etc. etc. etc.

But if I picked one right now, it would have to be John Irving. I loved the World According to Garp, Cider House Rules, Hotel New Hampshire, A Prayer for Owen Meany, and probably more that I have read. I’ll read more. But I think he’ll be my author.

Now to write the letter.

Well, I am such an organized person, I decided to determine the categories of famous people I will write to before deciding on the actual people.

So this is what I have so far:

one inventor

Easier to find them this way, I think….
