tabbi13 is up way too late =)
Before I became a mom in 07, I drew all the time. But once I had my daughter, I spent every waking second with her. Ive become one those, Ill get around to it…girls lately and now its time to start again.
How I did it: i treated like a diary\journal. every day i would make an entry. something to relate to my mood, something new i learned that day, it wa also good to experiment in for larger projects Read how I did it…

xXmusetteXx is getting a job XD
I have a sketch book and I really like using it but Im a real perfectionist so every single thing in it takes ages. the good side to that is that im really happy with pretty much everything that stays in there… the downside is it takes a looong time. So im gonna try make myself stop caring so much XD
I finished my old one and have done a couple drawings in my brand new sketch book :)
It feels great! Like a new beginning.
Unfortunately I have 3 new sketchbooks so I’m not quite sure which one to fill- I have a mini square one an A4 one and an A3 one all filled with pages that desperatly need corrupting.
I’ve been doing A-level sketchbooks all year so it’s finally nice to have free time to do what i really want to rather than having to stick to a set theme.
SugarVixen finally was able to check some of her weight loss goals off her list!!
When I put this goal on here I thought this would take forever but I’m over half way there!!!
About once a year or so, I’ll go to the art supply store and buy a new sketchbook and new pencils or charcoal. And then usually leave it in the bag forever. My goal is to use up the ones I have before I buy new ones (books – I might still buy new pencils :)
Saturday I sketched (one page) for the first time in a long time. It was a pretty bad sketch, totally flat, but I know it will get better if I keep it up. I remember being in college, and how after a few months of attending life drawing sessions, my figures were much more alive. One page at a time.
papayawhip is going to have a 3rd cookout tonight - 3 nights in a row... yay
But each one has about 3 or 4 drawings in it. I need to do a lot more art and finally fill up a sketchbook!
i hardly ever have time. i guess i just need to sit down and pull out my paints, or pencils.
if i just give myself a deadline..like “i want to be done with my sketchbook by next wednesday” then i could just get it done!
