I lost 17 pounds during the last 2 months, which is amazing considering I haven’t start an exercise program yet!
But I have let myself go lately, IMve been eating less and less healthy. I need to get back on track and lose some 40 pounds more.

I’ve been on a diet for 16 days now. Well, not a diet, but I have cut all soda beverages, all sugary desserts, all cookies, fat foods, etc. I now eat a lot of vegetables everyday, I eat smaller portions during meals and I drink more water than anything else. According to everything I know and people around me, my new eating habits should be more than enough, combined with exercises, to loose the weight I have to loose. I want to get from my 280 pounds (yikes!, I thought I was “only” 250!!!) to 200 in two years. So, I’m fixing myself with realistic goals, a long enough time frame to make sure I won’t just loose fat and gain it all over afterwards. The idea is to eat better and get slimmer, not get slimmer and regain the weight!
My girlfriend is pretty happy that I took this first step. We have shopped the gyms around our place and we decided where we want to train, so next step (probably this weekend) is to go there and join. We plan goind there 3 times a week.
Hmmm… My first cheer on this is none other than my girlfriend. Is she telling me I’m a lousy lover because I’m fat? I don’t think I’m lousy, although, I’ll admit I’m fat and it does keep me from performing as I used to when I was fit. This summer, I started going to work on my bike until I got hit by a car. I wasn’t injured, but my bicycle was damaged and I never got it fixed. I’ll have to fing something else to stay fit because I’m moving too far from my work to go there on a bike. But I do have to loose some weight, but more importantly, I do have to get in better shape.
